What is important to bear in mind is that thread lift results can differ from person to person. It depends on the current shape of the face and the condition of the skin. Our doctors can advise you on this in great detail. We therefore recommend that you contact us and book a no-obligation consultation.

Why choose a thread lift?

Perhaps you are not sure a thread lift would be right for you at all. This is also something our specialists can help you with. Who knows, a (mini) facelift might just be a better fit for you. A thread lift is a good choice for anyone experiencing the onset of sagging skin, especially around the eyes, eyebrows, and cheeks. When you notice that your appearance is not as fresh and open anymore as it once was. You can then do something about that in a relatively simple way, because a feather lift procedure is done in no time.

The thread lift procedure: what you need to know

Our thread lift procedure page provides extensive information and you will, of course, also be told everything you need to know about this procedure during the no-obligation consultation. We will give a brief summary here.

A thread lift will take approximately 20 to 40 minutes and is performed under local anaesthetic or intravenous anaesthesia. You can go home on the same day and you will recover quickly, almost immediately. Sometimes, patients need a day or two at home to recover fully. Over those two days, any swelling will normally clear up.

The surgeon will make tiny incisions of around 0.5 cm below the skin to be able to insert special threads subcutaneously. These threads are intended to lift the weakened tissue. The tissue can subsequently affix itself to the new location, while the threads dissolve slowly in the meantime. You will not have any permanent threads in your body. This is what makes the procedure extremely safe and effective!

Thread lifts for women and men

Feather lifts are currently mainly popular among women, but it is important to stress that both women and men can undergo this procedure. Our focus is on customisation, so that we can always go for a natural result.
