Prof. Dr. Roberto Roddi completed his medical training cum laude (1982) at the University of Modena, Italy and Dentistry (1987) in Paris (1987). Roberto Roddi specialized in General Surgery with honors (1987) at the University of Modena, MKA/Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (1988) and in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (1989) at the University of Paris. He obtained his doctorate/PhD (1987) in Paris and several master degrees: Microsurgery (1988), University Paris XII, Cranio-Facial Morphology and Cranio-Cervico-Facial Organogenesis (1999) from the University of Nancy I, France.
Work experience (1982-2022): Italy, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands (including at the University Hospital of Rotterdam and Maastricht). Prof. Roddi participated in numerous volunteer missions in developing countries (Asia, Africa and South America) to perform operations mainly on children in need (e.g. cleft palate, burns, genital mutilations, etc.)
Patron of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Pun Hlaing-Siloam Hospitals, Rangoon and Mandalay in Myanmar; Prof. Roddi recently returned to Europe in 2023 and works privately in Italy and Belgium.
He is a member of the ISAPS (International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), IPRAS (International Confederation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery), ASPS (American Society for Plastic Surgeons) and many other national and international plastic surgery societies: RBSPS ( B), NVPC and NVEPC (NL); SICPRE and AICPE (I); SOFCPRE (F); BAPRAS (UK).
