Drop & Fluff: a gradual process

Drop & Fluff is a term for the natural process that breasts go through after breast augmentation. It is perfectly normal for the implants to be slightly higher after the procedure and for the skin to look and feel somewhat tight. As the breast skin becomes more supple and the muscles relax, the implants move downwards. They become more beautiful and natural as it were. That is the "drop" in the process.

The lower breast, the area under the nipple, can look less filled shortly after the procedure. A few weeks after the breast augmentation the "fluff" takes place, whereby the implants fill the lower breast nicely.

The end result of the breast augmentation

Of course you would like to see the final result of your new breasts immediately after the procedure. Nevertheless, you will have to be patient for a while. "Good things come to those who wait", says the English proverb. That also applies here. The Drop & Fluff process takes time and is different for everyone. How quickly it goes depends on the type and size of the implants and on the skin and muscles. It is also possible that one breast adapts faster than the other. You certainly need not worry if your breasts are not immediately in the right position. It is normal that this can take some time.

During the first consultation in the Wellness Kliniek all this will be clearly discussed and you can ask questions about this. After the procedure, we will look together at how we can speed up the desired end result, for example by wearing a chest band and massaging the implants.
