Dr. Meels completed her medical degree at the University of Antwerp in 2000, graduating with great distinction. She subsequently specialised in surgery at ZNA Stuivenberg, UZA and AZ Middelheim, with a focus on general and vascular surgery.
Since 2007, she has undertaken numerous additional training programmes, attended conferences and furthered her expertise in aesthetic medicine and surgery. She also completed additional training in face and neck lift surgery at the prestigious Saint Louis University in the United States, renowned for its strong focus on anatomy.
In addition, Dr. Meels has developed a practice focused on preventive medicine, longevity, lifestyle and hormone replacement therapy for women. This broad background is reflected in her approach to aesthetic surgery, in which she considers not only the patient’s anatomy, but also their overall health, lifestyle and hormonal status. These factors can all play a role in how the final result develops over time.
