Dr Jérôme Duisit is a recognized specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, ranked first in the final examination of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum (CCP, 2019). He holds the title of Doctor in Medicine (MD, UCLouvain, 2010), Doctor in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (PhD, UCLouvain 2018), and Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS, Université Lyon 1, 2004),
His surgical training was provided in several international centers of excellence in Belgium (Brussels, Ghent), Luxembourg, England (Cambridge, Manchester), France (Amiens). From 2019 to 2021 he worked at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, developing a particular expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breasts, perineum, abdominal wall, as well as body contouring (including after massive weight loss).
He is also a recognized researcher in Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering, member of several international societies. He was awarded the Lucien Deloyer Prize from the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium and the Prize from the National Academy of Surgery (France), for his work in regeneration of composite tissues (face and hand). He is the author and co-author of numerous international publications in plastic surgery and tissue engineering.
