I made a reservation for the Next-Day-Surgery program and went to Belgium.

The reception at the Wellness Clinic was very welcoming. I had to wait a while before it was my turn. I was glad they served coffee. The consultation with the plastic surgeon went relax. The doctor was friendly and very patient. He went through all the pros and cons of a facelift operation. I told him exactly what my expectations were. Together we decided that a MACS facelift would give me the best result.

After the consultation, I immediately confirmed my operation for the next day.

Together with my friend, I stayed the night at the beautiful 5 star Carbon Hotel.

I arrived, the next morning, at 8 am for surgery. A nurse came to fetch me and walked me to my room. I was very surprised. The room with bathroom was amazing: all in marble and granite! I felt a VIP right away . The nurse gave me a theatre apron, a comfortable bathrobe and slippers. Together we completed an a list of medical questions. She took my blood pressure and temperature. Then I got a suppository.

At 11 am it was my turn. Of the operation, I cannot remember a thing. I became only fully awake again in my beautiful room. The plastic surgeon came to see me. The nursing staff was very friendly and helpful.

At 5 pm my friend picked me up, and togher we returned to the hotel.

The next morning I return to the Wellness Kliniek for a check-up. The plastic surgeon wrote a letter to my physician to remove the stitches. Most sutures had to be left in place. They automatically dissolved after a few weeks.

Making the decision to have facelift surgery was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever contemplated. It was the best decision I could possibly have made!

The overall appearance of my face is better than I could have ever expected. I look and feel 10 years younger!
