Labia augmentation
Augmentation or labiaplasty: Injections to increase the fullness of the labia majora. Aging or weight loss can result in reduced fullness of the vagina's outer lips, the labia majora. Involuted outer labia can be corrected by injecting soft Bio-Alkamid ® or with fat taken from another area of the body.
The procedure can be performed under intravenous sedation or local anaesthetic and takes about an hour.
You can resume your sexual activity after two weeks.
Labia augmentation: injections of your own body fat
Traditionally an autologous fat transplant - your own body fat - was used to enhance aging labia majora. In very thin ladies plumping up the outer labia may be desirable to improve their appearance and make them look more youthful.In the Wellness Kliniek we use the Coleman lipostructure method. However results can be unpredictable and a repeat session is generally required. Rejection of the fat and irregularities may occur. Therefore you may prefer a longer lasting filler.
Labia augmentation: injections with Bio-Alkamid®
You may prefer the use of Bio-Alkamid®, a permanent hydrogel filler, because it involves less complications and the results are more predictable.
This modern product consists of 97% water and 3% polyalkylimide. After being injected it forms a soft, body friendly implant around which a layer of tissue forms . This layer remains supple and ensures that the implant does not move about. Should the need arise; the gel can be safely and easily removed without fear of causing undue tissue damage.
Labiaplasty - enlargement of the labia majora - is a popular treatment at the Wellness Kliniek. All intimate operations can be combined with other procedures.
