Aesthetic Cosmetic dentistry
At their initial visit the specialist cosmetic dentist examines each patient thoroughly.
During the intake discussion we compile a personal treatment plan, including an estimate of the costs, on the basis of your wishes and your budget.
The intake consultation includes the following:
- 1. A complete case history.
- 2. A dental examination.
- 3. Digital x-ray and slides.
- 4. A discussion about your options, wishes and budget.
- 5. Compilation of your cost estimate and treatment plan.
Before the dentist can compile your treatment plan he performs a comprehensive examination. First he assesses the patient's general health, by looking at their case history.
Then the dentist examines the teeth and gums. If the patient stil has some of his/her own teeth then the gums around the teeth have to be healthy or treated: this is the first treatment phase.
The condition of the jawbone is also examined by means of a modern x-ray machine, digital OPG image of your complete mouth and jaw.
Following the intake consultation you receive your treatment plan.
Treatment plan & quotation
A comprehensive examination takes place before the dentist is able to compile a treatment plan. First the dentist assesses the patient's general health based on a discussion of his or her medical history.
The dentist then examines the teeth and gums. If the patient still has his or her own teeth the gums surrounding the teeth must be healthy or be improved: this is the first phase of treatment. The condition of the jawbone is also examined. This is done using a modern X-ray, digital OPG of your full set of teeth and jawbone.
We can only compile a treatment plan with a quotation* after a consultation with the dentist.
All consultations, even your initial consultation, are with your treating dentist. We do not work with intermediates. Only the actual dentist can explain the options to you in detail. The intake discussion is important to achieve an optimal, beautiful end result.
You can communicate your wishes and goals during the consultation. Your dentist will discuss the possibilities with you to achieve the most stunning result.
Your dentist will always be happy to answer all your questions because a well-informed patient is a satisfied patient. After all, that's our ultimate goal!
Free additional consultation
If you still have questions after your initial consultation, please contact us to book an additional consultation. A second consultation is free of charge.
