WRINKLE TREATMENTS >>Filling Techniques for Deep Wrinkles
and Grooves |
|
Deep wrinkles can be filled with several different techniques depending
on their location and your personal preference. There are several filling
substances each having their own characteristics. Depending on the technique,
the effect can be permanent or temporary.
WHICH MATERIAL?
Your skin is first analysed by a Wellness Kliniek doctor. Together
you will decide which technique is best suited to your needs
- Lipofilling and lipostructure are often the
preferred choice. Fat is harvested from the patient. It results in
a soft filling which, due to a new centrifuge technique applied to
the fat cells, has a very good chance of being permanent.
- Hylaform® and Collagen® injections are temporary,
lasting only a few months. Temporary filling substances need to be
regularly repeated.
- Dermalive®, Artecoll®, Goretex® and Softform®
have a permanent effect. The body makes collagen around the treated
area following injection or implantation. This ensures that the filler
stays in place. The results using these substances are permanent.
- Autograft dermis is the transplantation of the deeper
layers of the skin to fill out the lips or deep creases. The skin
needed for preparation of the material is harvested from excised excess
during simultaneous cosmetic surgery such as face lift, tummy tuck
or body contouring.
- Allograft dermis. The principle is similar to autograft
dermis but here commercially available processed human donor skin
is used in cases where harvesting patients skin would cause additional
scarring.
LIQUID SILICONE
Safety and quality is priority number one at the
Wellness Kliniek. This is required as we work under ISO/9001-14001 quality
control standards. This means that each technique and material is controlled
for effectiveness, side effects and patient satisfaction. Silicone injections
have not met our stringent safety requirements in the past. It is generally
rejected as a cosmetic filling substance at the Wellness Kliniek.
LIPOSTRUCTURE
AND LIPOFILLING
These two treatments give new structure to an area using the bodys
own fat.
Fat is harvested from the stomach or thigh region and, after purification,
injected into the area requiring filling and more structure. Loss of
structure can be genetic or caused by aging or scarring.
Injection of the bodys own fat for rejuvenation is a temporary
solution. The aging process continues, even if we use a permanent filling
technique.
LIPOFILLING
Fat is first harvested and immediately injected into the treatment area
without being purified. During the first week 50-70% of the fat disappears
into the body. Therefore more fat is injected into the area than is
necessary for the correction. Another treatment is often needed for
the desired result.
LIPOSTRUCTURE
Harvested fat is first purified using a sterile centrifuge. This new
technique insures that only viable fat cells are injected into the treatment
area. This gives a more exact and lasting result.
The bodies own fat is a soft and natural
filling substance. Because it is the patients own, the possibility
of rejection is reduced. After about 6 weeks the fat is grafted
onto the treated area and, in most cases, permanent.
LIPOSTRUCTURE and LIPOFILLING are indicated for filling of:
- deep wrinkles and grooves in
the face.
A face looks younger when the grooves between the nose and mouth,
sunken cheeks and
hollows underneath the eyes are filled out.
- the lips.
This natural soft substance is suitable for giving lips more volume.
- the hands.
With aging the tendons and veins of the hands often become unsightly.
The skin becomes
thinner and shows aging spots. Lipostructure combined with a peel
and/or stripping of
prominent veins can offer the solution.
- sunken cheeks.
A solution for very thin or emaciated people.
- dents or other irregularities
of the face or body
